Lamberts Bay is ripping!
JUST A UPDATE HERE FROM THE COAST OF DRIED BOKKOMS BLACK COFFEE AND CRANKING POINT BREAKS
It was such a rad holiday, packed with endlessss… activities for the Son surfers here in Lamberts city, that most groms didn’t wanne go back to school…
Blown away again by GOD’S absolute faithfulness in being the provider..! With the world cup here, the ouens wanted to kick ball, and not just a few passes ekse, all of the day….
I smaak the game myself , but we only had two messed up soccer balls, and Im like: LORD its world cup in SA, and the kids wanne rock a soccer ball, and our funds are spent..HELP!
In faith, I enter the ” win a soccerball-kit” competition at two different SPAR shops, on in our town and one at our neighboring town.. noggal tuning the lady at the entry box that she can phone at any time to notify me off my win..! …and as true as what Christ is alive my brothers and sisters, she phones me on the Friday before kick off time that I won…and on Saturday from the other SPAR that I won there too…This was huge for the groms ..and GOD said: let there be soccer balls…and there was soccer balls ! hallelujah !
SON SKATE Vredendal.., . The dudes with there ” stove pipe denims and tekkies all sorts” were amped to come and try ride a few ” ocean kickers ” ( waves ) with us.
The dudes were all over the beach breaks , and the more advanced groms from our club could share there knowledge and skills with the skater helping them catch waves..great interaction, and a huge opportunity to build relationship with the sidewalk stylers…thats right..THEY’LL BE BACK FOR MORE…
THERE WERE BEACHCLEAN-UPS, BODYBOARD TRAINING SESSIONS, PING PONG CLUB CHAMPS,…A LOT OF BEACH SOCCER.. AND BODY-BOARD COMPOS..!
PRAYER TIME, CHURCH, AND TEACHINGS AND LANK COFFEES….
It wasnt so much about the program that we had for the kids. .but the opportunities created through the activities..
There are new groms at Son Surf every week..even 4 girls that are taking to the OCEAN VIBES, and most importantly the TRUTH FROM THE WORD!
Im being reminded daily about the importance of raising our youth up in CHRIST to be able to withstand the world and all that it chuks at the groms these days …
I SEE THE DIFFERENCE CHRIST BRINGS ABOUT IN THE GROMS LIFE… SO KEEP SEWING THE SEED BROTHERS AND SISTERS !
